"Have Thine Own Way" was Diane's first hymn arrangement written at 16 years of age.  It was arranged for the "Sunday School Choir" at Mount Bethel Baptist Church in Washington, DC where her father was pastor.  A simple, accessible arrangement originally composed for SAT, it remains suitable for SAT or SSA choirs as well.   It may be performed as written in a more solemn, metric manner, or with much rubato and varied dynamics in a non-metric, "as directed" style common in the gospel tradition.  (Get the score here as well.) Part recordings coming soon!
