A very easy piece for choirs of all levels, school classes, congregations, etc.  It is often performed for Martin Luther King events, for Kristallnacht or any occassion celebrating the resilience of people who have suffered and overcome tribulation.  Works well for all ages.  The entire piece may be done in unision or with the simple SATB harmonies provided.  There are 2 verses for solo.
