Written for the loving online singing community, the "Daily Antidote of Song," Diane felt a heart tug from God as this simple yet profound song was poured into her the night before her November 5, 2025 return as a song leader there. (See the session on YouTube. https://www.youtube.com/live/YR9kx63Z6RE?si=6YzI-vXMXMgJS3XQ .) Inspired by Christ's words (John 14:27), "My peace I leave with you; my peace I give you...Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid," it is an accessible unison song (with one optional phrase in harmony) and may also be sung as a solo.
It may be used as a short choral response in a church or synagogue gathering; it could be sung for a prayer or meditation period; it could bring comfort to someone struggling with serious illness or to a bereaving family at a memorial service. As the words represent God's voice to us, it could simply be used for your quiet time or for small group's fellowship to uplift one another. [Note: A simple demo is also available here to assist those who prefer to learn auditorily.]
This piece is in a low key that worked well for the original singers for which it was written. However, higher key options are forthcoming. If you need a higher key, simply send us a message through our "Contact Us" page.
